1.What is a myth?
   -A myth is a story with a purpose, it trys to explain the way the world is. It also trys to explain the relationship between gods and humans.

2.What is a motif?
   -A motif is a detail within the story that repeats itself throughout the story. an example of a motif could be character traits or objects.

3.Why were myths created?
   -Myths were created to answer basic questions about unexplained phenomenons that happen.

4. How is a myth different from a short story, legend or fable?
   -A ledgend isnt acctually explaining anything, it has no purpose, its more for pure entertainment. myths have a purpose and a story behind them to explain natural phenomenons.

5. What are some repeated motifs that can be found in many myths from many cultures?   - some repeated motifs in myths from many cultures are: gods and godesses, fabulous beasts, sacred places, heroic humas, afterlife, contacting the gods. a motif  is a repetition in a myth that happens throughout the story and occurs in other myths.
